Can this system support several MOH messages - maybe a separate message for each extention or would the same message play on entire phone system?
Also, does this system support an external MOH device or does the file need to be uploaded internally?

You can have, 4 MOH sources per system. You can define MOH by extension, trunk, hunt group...and a couple others. The only system I have worked with that supports like 96 is the NEC Aspire.
