I have a new customer that I installed a pre-owned VS and I'm having some problems (more like questions) configuring it to customer request, which I know the the system can handle. It's been close to 10 years that I programmed one of these and I still remember quite a bit, but I'm sorta lost for certain things.

1. VS has Omega Voice VM, EU wants auto attendant to answer and route calls. I know I need to program a NIGHT key on the attendant phone to toggle on and off, but what do I configure to achieve this?

2. VS only has 2 CO lines and 3 phones. What button (or class) do I configure for all phones to ring on incoming calls transferred out of the auto attendant.

Other than that, I successful configured everything else. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Put a night button on the attendant station to toggle the system in an out of night mode. You have to program the key pattern.

2. You can program the phones to ring in class 11.32 and then delay ring to VM hunt group, or you can build a UCD group and have it overflow to the VM hunt group using the timers in class 4.

Thanks for the prompt response Jadix.

1. By programming the night button on the attendant phone, will that automatically let the auto attendant pick up when night mode is on? Is there any other programming needed?

2. Where do I program for the delay ring to VM?

Thanks again.

For your CO line termination for Day, Night and Overflow, you need to look at Trunk Call Processing in 11.34 and 11.73.03. Don't forget to adjust your system timers.
