No problem. This guy is going to rush out to fix it for you (look in the driver's window closely):

He just got done straightening this up. He did a nice job, huh?

I'd be surprised if you didn't.

When I moved into my house (30 years ago) , whenever it rained, the static was so bad you couldn't hear a thing. I would call it in to repair and by the time the repairman came out, the cables had dried and all was good. Next rain - it was static city.

One day after a really brutal rain storm I tried to call in a trouble and the 611 Gal said "I can't understand you, the static is too bad. Call back later."

I was so ticked I put a toner on the line, ran down to the Lutheran Church on the corner, banged on the Sextons door and when he opened it I told him I was going to cliumb the pole in his backyard. He just stared at me.

I climbed the pole, found the pair, cleaned all the cobwebs out, removed the drop wire, restripped it and reconnected it.

Never had a problem again,

I stopped on the way out and thanked the Sexton. He said "Do you know what I do for a living?" When I said No, he told me that he was a Powerman for NY Tel. I was lucky he didn't have me arrested.

Ed, it looks like before he fell asleep, he barfed up his salad onto the pavement.

No, no, Its the foliage from the nearby trees that
he cleaned off from his hooks.

The problem was he couldn't get his bucket truck started to use his bucket.

A noble VERIZON employee as he , got out the hooks to clear the trouble, after he passed out from fatigue.

I have seen damaged boxes marked with orange x's for replacement sitting for years before MTS gets around to fixing them. It's almost like they need a minimum amount of damaged plant in one area before they send in a crew to fix them.

Rotten joint use poles are the same. Manitoba Hydro will set a new pole in beside the bad one and it will take years before a different crew will come and remove the old pole stub. Their excuse is they don't know if / when MTS or Shaw cable have transferred their lines from the old pole to the new one.

Sam, the Sexton’s phone line was probably as bad as your's and he was unable to call the cops on you.
