I have a 7400 with two PRI's, and I think that either the PRI line is having problems or a port on my TEPRI2 card is out: My problem is that when I bypass the LCR, By dialing 6001 to pick up the trunk directly, I get dial tone, but when I enter a local or LD number, it acts like it's connecting, but after a couple seconds it shows 'CO hung up'. So any trunk between 6001 thru 6023 reproduces the same results. Trunks 6025 thru 6047 work fine.
I would think this problem would be related to the phone co., but their techs said the circuit checked out OK. Is there a test I can perform on my TEPRI2 card? Any information would be greatly appreciated! PS - Awesome site!

I doubt it's the card, but have you checked your settings to make sure they match the PRI? Is ISDN PROGCON set to ON?
Have you tried switching the two circuits? If trunks 6025 thru 6047 work in the second card, try moving them to the first card so that PRI becomes 6001 thru 6023. If you get the CO hung up, you can assume something is happening in the card. If it works, then it's most likely on the CO side.
I went through this with Samsung and a large medical facility.

I checked MMC 430(PRI Options) and for trunks 6001 thru 6047, everything appears to match. I am not familiar with 'ISDN PROGCON', I found it in MMC 210 and it's currently set to 'OFF', is this bad?
I will try switching the two cables this evening to see what happens - Good call!

Do you have an L2 light? Does inbound work? I understand that if you press 6001, you get dial tone, but if you press 6001 and get dialtone then dial a phone number does it send without going through LCR?

The L21 light is not on (I do get an L22 light). I must be wrong about going past LCR, I tried it again, this time using 6026, dialed a local number and it switched me to 6047.

Without the L2 light on it sounds like the card is not seeing the D channel. The lec may not have the D channel turned up on that circuit or there is a wrong pin out on that patch cable.

D channel..go figure. In the manual it's listed as 'status of Layer 2' (Why don't they say that do begin with).
I believe it's the card, just ordered a replacement, it will be here tomorrow. I will follow up once I install the new card. Sure appreciate everyone's input!

Fixed!, It was a dip switch setting on the TEPRI2 card. The way it was setup it was looping the D channel. :bang:
