System: iDCS100 R2
We have the phone system outside the firewall. The laptop which has softphone installed is located in the network behind a firewall. I can hear my voice from the softphone/laptop to the office phone, however I cannot hear my voice from the office phone to the softphone/laptop.
I mute the softphone and I no longer hear my voice in the office phone, however when I talk through my offce phone, nothing is heard in the softphone/laptop.
What ports should I open in my firewall in order to hear the office phone?

You post confuses me because you say the phone system is OUTSIDE the firewall, but the SoftPhone is located in the network too. Are they on the same LAN? Are they at two seperate locations?

Check the ports on your firewall. They are blocking ports that need to have open.
Cit I think what he is saying is that the phone system is on the outside of his firewall on the isp side and his phone is inside his local lan.

On the OfficeServ Softphone, can you get any two way communication at all? When using the 'IPPhone' skin, toward the bottom where the volume levels are you should see TX/RX bars, when making a call, are any of these bars interactive with sound/voice?

Sorry for the confusion. To keep it outside of the firewall we have set a switch that splits the internet connection (ISP); 2 connections go to the iDCS100 (MCP1 & MGI3 cards) and other is going to the firewall. From the firewall it goes into another switch that connects the whole office network (LAN). The bars for the microphone is moving in the ipphone skin, it is picking up sound and I can hear it in my office phone. When I hit mute on the softphone the bars stop moving. However the bars for the speaker does not move when I talk through the office phone. We also have 2 VOIP phones which have the same problem. I also tried from my house last night to see if it was the LAN/Firewall causing the problem. I used my ISP from home to connect to the iDCS and called my cell phone. The same thing happened, it was a one-way communication. Although it could be that I have to open the same ports in my home router.

I also wanted to add that we have the same system at another location and both systems are set up the same way and are connected to each other so I can successfully call the other location's extension directly and vice versa.

As I mentioned above, it's most likely a port issue and it sounds like you have a rather interesting network.
Try moving one of the ITP phones to the same LAN the KSU is on and see if you can get it to work. If you can get the phones to work on the LAN, it's a port issue.
