I have a 7400 4.14k behind a sonic-wall w/local ip phones working fine. I have both mcp and mgi set private w/public both with the same public ip but two different private ip's we have connection from a public ip phone but only receiving audio and not sending.Should i set the public address the same as the private address for each card since I'm using port forwarding? I also have the phone setup for public w/firewall. Do I have to have two public ip's if I'm using port forwarding. I'm testing w/a itp5021 but ultimately they will be using a soft-phone , do they both use the same ports?

For the phone that is not working, do you have the individual extension set to public in MMC ---?

Since they connect and you get two-way audio on the phone on your LAN, then it's a port issue somewhere in the firewall. Both SoftPhones and ITP phones use the same ports, so if you get it to work with the ITP phone... you'll be fine.
