I have a small comdial impact with 8012s sets. These sets stop working. We disconnect then reconnect & they work for a short period. I have also removed power from the system. This also works for the short term. Would this be the set or the system. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Are the lights going off?? Is the power supply pooping out?? Isolate the problem. Is it the cabinet, the phones, the power supply, etc.
What size KSU (cabinet) do you have?? Unplug everything. Then plug things in one by one. This is all troubleshooting 101. Isolate the problem.

What kind of system is this? Comdial's Impact phones worked with many Comdial systems. You say "small comdial", but that's up for interpretation. Is it a Comdial DSU (flat black metal cabinet), Comdial DSU II (flat gray/platinum metal cabinet), Comdial DXP/DXP+ (large black metal box), or Comdial FX-series (large gray metal box)?
