I have a customer with a Comdial 3X8 system. It says executech on the cover but I can't find any other markings. I want to setup a new 3rd incoming line. It uses 6706X phones and I am having a brain fart trying to get this to work. If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Mark, I have the line run to the system. I can't get the phones programmed for the 3rd CO line. On the bottom row of the 6706 phones, are the first and second lines. So I wanted to put the 3rd line on the second row from the bottom on the left side. That is where I am hitting a mental wall. I tried to program the 3rd line as a Type 1 line and then assign the button for the 3rd line. Thanks for your advice.

I'm moderately sure even back on the old beige cabinet line mapping was 56 02. I'll have to see if I can find my old manuals if it's the beige cabinet.

Hi,

If I remember correctly you need at least a 6714 or 6614 to program an xe. Then 56 02 would work. I would buy a manual above and check. No matter what you will need a manual on the system.
