Hi Everyone... I am a network administrator for a medium sized company with about 150 comdial phones. I have been tasked at managing the phone system and I am not an expert and I am hoping you can help me.
We have ringing system setup that uses about a dozen routing boxes. I have managed to figure out how it works (I think). I need to make a change for a 30 minute window and I have added a routing box but it does not seem to work. More specific details:
All calls go to box 8310 which routes by date. If it is not a holiday it defaults to box 8307 which routes by day of the week. M-F go to 8300 and Saturday and Sunday go to 8305 and so on. I want a 30 minute window at 4:30pm to 5:00pm to mirror the Saturday Sunday setup. I added a routing box 8315 and set it to route by time. I then changes 8307 M-F to go to 8315 rather than 8300. If it is 7:30am -4:30pm I set it to go right to 8300 where it was going before I added 8315. I added 16:30-16:59 go to 8305.... logically I think it looks right but it doesnt work.
I did notice that I did not give the routing box a name and I did not set "treat as" but left it as no change. Would that cause it not to work?
Thanks for your help!

Your question is beyond the scope of this forums intended purpose, which as stated in the forum user information is to dispense end user and basic administrative assistance. Someone may PM you or email you with assistance or you can request help privately from a moderator or a member. At any rate, no member should post details of this level programming here in the open forum. Mark

Hi,
What he means is that you should have a certified comdial tech do this level of programming. It is beyond end user administration and we would spend hours on line here trying to explain it to you and you still would not understand it. Pay a Comdial tech to come out and show you. Then going forward you may be able to do it. Good luck with the project.

Somebody here may help you on a dial in basis for a fee. Or you could put it in looking for installer folder.
