I have an extension that when you intercom the phone it only rings once. The other phones ring multiple times. I know this is simple but I can't figure out the feature that applies to this. It does not go off hook the call is still at the phone until I pick up the call. They do not have voice mail.

yes I checked the volume we hear it ring once but it never rings again but the call is still at the phone.

With the handset down you pressed the volume up key?

you have your ringer volume set to 0
