I work at an elementary school where we have a Bogen Mulyicom 2000 paging system with a Comdial phone system. We used to be able to access the paging system in all classrooms by dialing #911 but since our Bogen system was updated, only the office can currently page. For emergency purposes it was nice when all stations could page. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?

Odd that it would stop working if you didn't change anything on the Comdial side. What type of Comdial switch do you have there?

Depending on your system you could program that feature code onto say, the "9" on the keypad and all they would have to do is hit the one buttong. smile

I know that they are Impact 8324S phones but am not sure how to determine the switch type.

Unfortunately, we are in a very low economic area of Ohio which just made $3.5 million in cutbacks and do not have a system administrator.

We can still try to help you here within reason. This may be a matter of programming buttons or speed dial codes on the phones. Please go to the main control unit for the phone system (KSU) and give us any numbers you can attain. It is unlikely that anything was changed in your telephone system programming. Your paging system was changed and/or upgraded and that's when the problem began. Your paging system vendor needs to be brought back to finish the job and if liaison with a Vertical/Comdial dealer is required your vendor should provide for same. Your telephone system is an FX-II and can be remotely administered!

During the Bogen upgrade the access level for the telephone system was changed or the codes to page. Either way the Bogen tech will need to be contacted and as Jim said "finish the job"
