My Strata VI-e 6 lines just shorted, 20+ yrs old and burned out today- I was only using 2 of the lines- but have 7 phone sets- all of them went crazy - lights blinking, lines lighting up- even a line I don't have connected lit up. then phone ringing by itself with no one calling. This am- smoke and smell at the main box- something blew- Can I replace you think? or just get a newer one?

However, in answer to your question, keep in mind that any other VI-e is going to be 10+ years old. I'd recommend calling the dealer and buying an all new system. You'd be surprised what you can get for the same money you spent 20 years ago!
