We have a Perfect Voice VM inskin a Telco switch, I can log on remotely with hyperterminal #*#, call help, screens, 4 managers, the problem is that x 602 message light won't light, and I can see the problem is it is set up as a outside only mailbox with no ext. But I can not figure out how to change it. Edit is F4 but none of the function buttons work, only esc, enter, and the arrows. Anybody else program one of these or have any suggestions I would apreciate it!!

If memory serves me well I believe you need Hyperterminal Private Edition to get the function keys. It's been a real long time.
Which inskin is it?

Yes you do need the pro edition and you also need to manually program the function keys for them to work. Looking for my old manual now, will post if I find it.
Well I found in one I&M manual that you need to program you "F" keys to be "F" keys. For instance you would program F4 to be {F4}. Unfortunatly it shows how they need to be set up but it doesnt have the instructions on where you need to do this. Ill keep looking.

You can do it without HT PRO key mapping. For example: to use the F4 key you would actually type-
{f and then 4} yes, you need the brackets on each side and the f and 4 keys seperately.
page up would be {pgup}
it's a pain but can be done
