You guys are probley tired of hearing this one...
The company i am working for has a VMX 100 voicemail system, the scsi disk died on it. So we ordered a another off of ebay to replace the drive with. the only problem is that we do not know the password to this new drive.
We have tried contacting the seller but they say we can just hook up to a computer and change the password manually. Well i have done that with a SCSI Host Controller and all i can do is access the drive itself, there is no legible filesystem to windows, i can pull up the drive in a hex editor and view all the information(not in any legible way really), but i do not know what i am looking for here to get the password.
Is there by any chance a password you wonderful people know that could get me in? or even possibly the hex register the password is kept in, or heck, how to get a legible file system to show in windows!
I have us setup with an asterisk box moonlighting as a voicemail system right now, the implementation isn't very good due to asterisk's lack of internal dtmf disconnect supervision.
So any help is greatly appreciated.
PS. My boss is stubborn and doesnt want to make the switch to a full on voip system, so i'm kinda stuck trying this.
Thanks!
