I personally have only set it up with PRI circuit.

Even in 5.01, I didn't know it (m ext) was even available on or using 1FB's. (They (NEC) did talk about it - we use it only on PRI's)
What kind of trouble are you experiencing? It's very hard to answer this or offer you any kind of advice from such a generic question.

What I'm referring to is:
- are your problem(s) inbound or outbound? - mobile extensions count against the "license count" (need to review your configuration) - if an inbound problem, you may need to add or strip digit's in ARS programming if they don't match (exactly)
I did look on NTAC's site but haven't found whether ME's are now OK to use on 1FB's yet
