I have a few questions; how do you tell what kind of voicemail system is in an Electra Elite IPK NEC phone system? Once this is determined, what is the default password for a user mailbox? What do you do to transfer calls to vmail box of user?

1. For an IPK, it would be an Active-Voice Elitemail. 2. Can't tell you that. Against the rules, and not a good idea. 3. If I recall correctly, it's "transfer" 9+mailbox#, hang up (or release).

For question # 2, see the person who administers the system. They can set/change any mailbox password.

For Question #3, Press Transfer, Dial Extension number + 7. Example=(Tranf.1037)Hang up.
