I will admit to being a complete idiot about this phone. It says it's a Dterm 80 and the DND is on. I can't seem to get the DND off or get it to ring. It wouldn't ring prior to the DND being on.
Does anyone know how to fix either of these things? Thank you!

Kensley, welcome
I'm no NEC tech. but I can tell you that the set does not ring because the DND is on.
In other words, it is in "Do not Disturb".
Try pressing feature 99 feature and see if that clears it.

That took the DND off but it still does not ring to my phone. Thanks for the DND help!

I'm not sure what phone system you are on, but when you say that your phone will not ring do you mean that (1) when a new call comes into the business you want your phone to ring, (2) when someone calls your extension it answers hands-free instead of ringing, or (3) something else?

We'll need to know what phone system it is also. Unfortunately that phone can be used on several and is not a determining factor.

I need it to ring when someone calls into the business. Unfortunately the only information we have on the phones are the phones themselves so all I know is that it is an NEC Dterm80.

If the phone did not ring prior to DND having been set means you need a tech to program that station to ring. It is possible this can be done remotely.
