Greetings,
I've moved to a different room in the building.
How can I reassign the System Manager option from my old extension to my new extension?
PBX: NEC Univerge NEAX 2000 IPS Voice Mail: NEAXMail IM-16 LX
Thanks,

Just tell your new extension in the vmail that you are an administrator

How does one do that?
I do not hear a prompt, when in System Manger from my old extension or Voice Mail from my new extension, to indicate that I'm an Administrator.
Thanks,

you have to get into the voicemail system with a laptop that has cocessions. Then you go into your new mailbox and hit F8. you will see system manager and just click on it.

The other option would be to log into system manager only when you need to make changes, which I strongly recommend. When you call the voicemail and it asks for your passcode, instead press *## (star-pound-pound). You will hear the main greeting. Press 9+old-ext. It will ask you for the sysmgr passcode. Enter that, and you will be logged in as system mgr.
Keeping this separate from your PERSONAL mailbox will help keep you from coming in hungover after a late night and accidentally changing the system manager passcode to something no one can ever remember thereafter (which does happen OFTEN, BTW).
And you should have a second system manager mailbox/passcode, in case you screw it up by accident one day.
And you need to write down your passcode and place it in a sealed envelope, to be given to whoever succeeds you when you quit, retire, or otherwise become unavailable to the company.

Connect to the IM-16LX via a web browser. ie. 192.168.1.XXX/admin. Log in using your personal ID and Password. Under boxes, navigate to your new mailbox and chech the sys manager box.

Greetings,
Thanks everyone for your replies.
Our vendor remotely moved my mailbox to my new extension, so I now have the System Manager option from my new extension.
*Telephoneguy & *jzett, good info to add to my notes. I'll definitely check out both options.
Thanks,
