Hi all I am hoping someone has run into this or can even point me to another forum where I can ask this. We have a Bogen Multicom 2000 that was updated to the Quantum Multi IP system last school yr. Occasionally, and this happens in multiple schools, when a call is destined for the handset in a classroom it will broadcast over the speaker, sometimes in the room sometimes in the hallways or in a different classroom altogether. Resetting the whole system seems to be the only way to solve it although it is not a permanent fix.
Has anyone run into this issue before? The company we deal with say "we will get back to you" and then we don't hear from them again, when our electricians (who look after the phone and pa systems) call back a couple months later with the same problem the response is "this is the first we have heard of this".
