Hello, I am new to the group here and was in hopes of some help on how to change an extension already assigned to a phone (actually port) that a phone is plugged into.
We have some extensions that need to be changed where I work and although I know some of the special codes on this system I do not know all and can not find any paper work around that the person used before me.
(Example: extension 1408 needs to become 2408)
Is this something fairly easy? I know this task should be able to be completed at the phone itself.

Just FYI: The VM system is a Pathfinder VM system hooked into the Vodavi Phone System.

Brian:
In order to give you accurate information, we will need to know which specific infinite system that you have and the software level. If you can get the model number from the label on the KSU and try to get the software level by dialing 605 on any display phone, we should be able to get you pointed in the right direction.

Flash 52 button 24 then button 1 will allow you to change the extension number in most systems. Go back far enough and flash 52 doesn't exist.
