I have a customer that has a 5000-00 triad starplus.

All CO's ring to the receptionist and not any other extentions. How do I keep CO4 from ringing her and to one ext only?

Joe, do you have a programming manual for this system? If so, we can step you through the programming.

If you don't have the manual, check to see if the system has an optional modem card installed by dialing X499. If a modem doesn't answer after the second ring, then the system isn't equipped. If the modem does exist, then one of us here may be able to help you remotely for a small fee.

This level of programming is something that we can't share in public as it is restricted to technicians only. Someone may offer to help you via private messaging, but again, there may be a fee for this assistance.

Don't forget that you can always use the "manuals" link button at the top of this page to get yourself a manual for the Vodavi Triad-S or Mach 1 systems. The programming procedures are exactly the same.

I have the password for the system, but we didnt put it in. I am not sure what a modem has to do with it, unless for a remote access. In that case the customer can resolve their issue. I am not charging them for this particular feat.

Maybe I will turn them on to an updated system that is user friendly. I show some interest in the Vodavi System, but don't think that it is worth the hassles that would be involved, and the time spent to withstand that would make it worth while.

I do thank you for your input though.

I did contact the provider and have had no response.

My appologies for the above response, I am not familiar with the system and am being pressured a bit.I think I am overdue for a vacation.

Sorry Ed.

Just a bit stressed.

The more pressure, the more they pay.....

The Vodavi line is actually really easy to program compared to others. If you get your hands on a manual, I am sure you will find it pretty easy since it is the same process across those models.

The modem would let someone remote access and program it for you.
