Does anyone know how to reinitialize a vodavi 1428? I have heard remove the Eprom, and there is a set up dip switches SW1 but I don't know the sequence.
Help
Thank you,
Shane

Figured it out....I had to pull all the chips off the motherboard...switch the jumper....put all of them back...power it on....power it off....switch the jumper.....system is finally reinitialized....

Our Tech called Vodavi who had him short pins 2 and 4 on a chip in the lower right of the KSU. It drained the capacitor of the backup juice and totally initialized the entire system. I was going to shoot you a pic of the chip but see that you solved the problem.

Short pins 2 and 4 on u18 for 30 seconds. This discharges the supercap.
