Hello,
I was working in an office with a Toshiba CHSUB112A phone system tonight which we temporarily disconnected power to whilst we fitted a new surge strip.
When we powered it back on none of the Toshiba phones pick up a dial tone or ring when a call comes in.
Do we need to d something else to turn it back on? I can hear a soft click from the phones and the LCD back light display is flickering but nothing is displayed.
Not a phone engineer so really don't know where to start!
Thanks
Andrew

Something is not working. You should, before you disconnect power, rock the power switch on the front to off, but normally unplugging and plugging power back in should not cause a problem.
Maybe you should rock the power again if you have not done it, off then back on. Do you have 2 green power lights when power rocker in up (on)? Look at the processor card inside the cabinet (far left card) Do you see at least 1 LED steady blinking red? (Not the connections near the network card of you have a cable plugged in). If it is not blinking then it just tells you what you already know, that the system is not working.

Try this: Turn off the units and push the white colored buttons on the power supplies. Then turn the cabinets back on.
