Did they let it charge for 48 hours before using it?

Shouldn't have to charge for 48 hours, but I already recommend at least 12, or more if it's recommended by the manufacturer.

sorry a bit OT the title of this thread took me aback a bit, i thought someone had a nutty customer asking for wireless network drops, i was gonna suggest selling him some powdered oil at the same time!

I wonder if something is causing a voltage drop so the telephone bases drop the calls.

Call waiting? You may be able to disable battery break/disconnect recognition in the cordless, read the userguide/instruction book. "Instructions, we don't need no stinking instructions" John C.

You say it drops after 10 minutes. Does it give you a low battery indication? Some cordless phones and I've experienced this myself, don't like CID call waiting. I've never had one drop the call, but it does switch over to the other call by its self.

I'll echo what was just said. I have run into a problem similar to this with Caller ID with Call Waiting. The Call Waiting didn't seem to cause the trouble. It was the transmission of the Caller ID info.
