I was walking into home depot the other day and saw a milwaukee inspection camera. I think I found a tool that I could find a use for.
My question is, is it worth it to purchase for work. I have gotten by without it. But it sure could come in handy.
I need the pro's and con's of such a device. I know that it would help with dropping wires down the walls.
I need a second, third and fourth opion of the matter.
Thanks,
Mike

Tools! They fall into the need to have and nice to have category. One other sub-category would be labor saving devices and many of these are of the need/nice variety! Only you can determine what your business needs truly are.

I might use it once in a three year span. Honesty it's more of a plumbers tool than an LV tool. Labor savings? maybe once it would save me about 10 minutes. So for me it remains in the toy category or as J would say, the "nice" to have category. Now build me a set of flexible rods with a bell hanger end that glow in the wall about 20 feet in length while supplying video feet to my network tester (whew). Then were talking

Actually, I think it would fall into the 3rd category. Need, Nice, Neat to have. Spare punch tool, spare buttset, spare fish tape, 20 more feet of double-jack chain, spare battery packs for drill, spare toner and pickup, just a few things I'd have to have before a camera. John C.
