Hi all,
We are looking for a system that matches these requirements. Our budget is around $5K for equipment and installation. Is there anything you folks might recommend?
20 phones 9 POTS lines Auto-attendant Call transfer Call forwarding Hunt groups Three-way calling Speakerphone paging Remote extensions Receptionist phone Voicemail to email Music on hold DND
Thanks for any suggestions!

That is a very tight budget, Mike. You should probably look at a budget of twice that or possibly even more. Those are some fairly expensive requirements.

I agree with Ed. For the given requirements, that budget is extremely tight.

The closest you'd get is a Toshiba CIX 40, but you could have a max of 16 phones.

Mike drop the remote extensions and voicemail to email then you could get prices for some older equipment that may come closer to your budget
The only thing that may come close to what you want is a Asterisk box with real cheap phones

Thanks for the feedback. If we scale back to a basic key system, is there a solution in that category that that would be right for us?
We would drop some of the features like email integration of course...

You would have to get a good deal on a used system to get close to your price. You are budgeting $250 per phone, which will not get you anything new installed by a reputable company. At least nothing I'm aware of.

5 K for the equipment can be done but not with installation/programming and training.
