I have a secure logic system connected to our PRI's! Had a hugh problem couple of days ago and I get this error message:
"PRI D-CHANNEL MDL ERROR INDICATION H&F&G"
Had AT&T test circuit and of course no problem found.I get this error message above about the D-channel. I stop getting this error messge after they finished testing! I know I had a problem just trying to figure out what kind of d-channel problem! Thanks

Secure Logic? Is this one of those "hidden" vault or biometric things? I haven't heard of a Secure Logic PBX, but perhaps one exists. If it does, I'm sure we don't have a forum for it.

Won't you please post details about the brand of phone system you're working with? I'd also like to better understand the conditions in which this problem arises.

So far, it sounds like you're having some kind of PRI problem that--after testing--mysteriously disappears. PRI circuits are fairly straightforward, so I'm sure somebody here can help if given enough info.

Thanks in advance for posting back, and welcome to the board!

MDL = Message Definition Language. It's basically a type of command and response language similar to how http works. I issue command, you issue response, and this is how we shall make a phone call.

But it looks like you had a good old case of the D-Channel dropping for whatever reason. Them breaking into the circuit and then putting it back into production probably just made it reinitialize the D-Channel.

How often does this happen? It might not be worth perusing unless it becomes a persistent issue.
