hello all! Trying to convert the hard drive on a toshiba Stratagy DK system to a compact flash drive. Install easy, however when Stratagy.bat runs, it breaks. My guess is that there is a serial number burned into the chip somewhere, OR I haven't found all of the reference to the hard drive serial number to change it. It's looking for the numbers found in Signatur.ID.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Any thoughts, suggestions, opinions?
THNX!

That's correct. The system is looking for the hard coded signature ID that is in the signatur.id file.

Yes, we've changed the serial number there, and in the stratagy.bat file.. I do believe it's in there 6 times. However, it still is looking for the old serial number. WHere else should I be looking? Is it harded coded in a chip, or is there another txt file, or ID file I should be looking for it?

Geekchic, welcome to the board. Your question goes beyond what this board is intended for and, quite frankly, may violate licensing agreement and/or copyright laws. In keeping with board policy, I'm forced to close this thread to keep this from getting out of hand. However, I can state that if anyone wishes to help you out, they may do so offline by PM or email. I hope you understand and we hope this won't discourage you from coming back to this board.
