We are working on a DK280 with mulitple tenants. The system contains 2 PRIs/2 separate carriers( Each tenant bought their own PRI circuit from separatet carrier). We have set the Primary clock on the first card slot 103. Secondary clock is set on card in slot 203. Calls have noise on the line and disconnects on the Second card in slot 203. Since each circuit is sync with it's own network, is there a way to set both card with Primary clock? We're going to test the Primary clock on slot 203 and set the secondary clock to "blank". We're not going to set the clock on slot 103.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. :bang:

There's no need to set both cards to primary. What software level are you on the DK280? Are you using BPTUs or RPTUs?

Is the RPTU1 giving you the problem? Roll the cards and see if the problem follows the card.

Are both provisioned the same? (NI-1/2, DNIS, B-channels, D-channel, CNIS, etc.)
Swapped ckt's?

When we rolled the card it follows the circuit. Whichever circuit is set as secondary has the noise and disconnect.
Both circuit are NI-2 slot 103 has 23B channels and slot 203 has 16B channels. Each has it's own D channel.
We had one of the provider there to troubleshoot. He can see the "slip" in sync when the card is set as secondary.

So to make sure I understand correctly : no matter which card, which slot or which ckt it is on... it is always the secondary clock that has the problem?
Also, what two providers are they? (TW, AT&T, XO, etc.)
Thanks

Correct. Primary circuit is provided by Grande. Secondary circuit is provided by CBeyond.
question- Would a CSU correct the clocking on the secondary circuit?

No it would not correct the clocking issue. Have you tried moving the second pri to another slot? Try putting both RPTUs in the same cabinet.

No we haven't tried that. Since we are the local vendor and not the originating dealer, we asked the originating dealer to make that call. He didn't want to do that.
Thanks for your help guys.
