I have a customer that has 2 laptops that are running soft IPT's. One works like a charm, the other doesn't work at all. I have verified that it is set up correctly. Re-installed, all that jazz and I still cant get it to work. I can get the ext to work if I program a phone on my laptop so Ive come to the conclusion that its something with the laptop itself. Its a Compac NW8000 that meets all the minimum reqs. Anybody think of anything that would prevent the SoftIPT from working? Ive tried disabling firewall and anti-virus.

Never mind, he was choosing the wrong adapter when setting up the sIPT.
