I have an extension that will not ring when an outside caller presses "Zero". We have several extensions that do, but I need another extension to ring also.
Thanks!

Please provide a complete profile so we know more about who we are helping.
You need to go into system programming with eManager and find out what the PhDN is that rings on zero. Then put that PhDN on the extension you want to ring.
If you don't have access to the programming software, you need to contact a local Toshiba dealer.

Unless the programmer was like me that does not use a PhDn, but rather a Multiple Call Group, and I usually don't use 0, I just point 0 from the AA to call the MCG. I am just have more of a fondness to MCGs over PhDNs.
Just making a point that the original installer may do many different things. I had an issue recently with using a PhDN of 0 with a VMID of 0. I had to change the VMID and gereral mailbox to something other then 0.
But without the programming software this really won't help you.

Newtecky - Like you, I have used both methods, the PhDN's came to mind first. I think we agree that he needs to call a tech.

But without the programming software this really won't help you. I will back you 100% on being very fond of the function of MCG's. They are amazing and what a PhDN with a HG + Pilot DN should be... BUT the fact that they have such a small size limit really stinks, so I avoid using them for a "zero" out due their inherent nature of limitations. Anyway, back to the topic at hand... ---- Mark, after you provide some more details about yourself and your problem... I am curious as to what voice-mail system or auto attendant you're using too. Thanks! PS - Welcome to the board!

I would really like it if Toshiba would give us the ability to name the MCG's. That would be good.

agree with above two posts the size limitation has forced me to go to phantoms on many occasions
and naming would be good too for multiple company configurations,
and different ring tones wouldnt hurt
all thing that a phantom can do...
