I use Emanager 4.20A06, CIX/CTX AR4.20MP024.00. I am still learning about toshiba systems, and any help would be appreciated. I have a Hunt Group 280, with two members: 444 and 456. My problem is Voice Mail. When I call 280, phone just keeps ringing, but when I call 444 (VM is set up for this extension), i do get the VM. What am I missing here? Please let me know if you need more information...

You have to set the FWD on the hunt group and also, have the vmid set 444
This is found in the hunt grp itself.

Thank you for quick responses, but still nothing. If I call 280 now, I will get a long Beep after 4 rings, it stops ringing but does not go to VM. This setup did work for a while and than just quit on me.

Shouldn't matter if it is IES32 or IVP8. They are setup the same.

Call with a display phone and see what the display says when you call 280. It should say the ext you are ringing, and if forwarded should show the voicemail pilot number.
Also make sure when you are call another extension, you are not doing voice first, which will just beep once and never foward to voicemail. If you think it might be voice dialing, then press 1 to make the phone ring.

Yes, when I call it display says 280. It is voice first, but then when I press call it option it rings 4 times, and than beeps and stops right there, still displaying call 280 option. If you try to leave a message after that last beep, it goes through speaker phone on that 280 phone.

So when you call 280 will ext 444 ring and if 444 is busy will ext 456 ring ? The reason Iam asking is because that is the way I set up a test switch. 280 will ring ext 444 then after 5 rings ring 456 but will not ring an extension that is call forward all calls to voicemail. The next question I have is how do you want to use this hunt group. could using a MULTIPLE CALL GROUP work for you this would ring 444 delay to 456 then delay to voicemail or ring both extensions first then delay to voicemail

Yes, X456 will ring first, than it goes to X444, but never gets to VM. Like I said I just started using this program, and I've neve before set up MULTIPLE CALL GROUP. All I need it to do is to ring both extensions when you dial 280 (doesn mater if delayed or at the same time), and than go to VM. Is this too much to ask??? :)At this point I will try anything, I just wanna get it done before this weekend
