Hi all,
I'm trying to create an announcemet only mailbox that will simply play a greeting, then hang up on the caller without storing messages. Sounds simple enough, but I can't get it to work.
I have these chain settings:
Chain done: <default> Chain RNA: TokenIntApp - @P(G1) Chain Busy: (same as above)
When someone calls now, it plays the greeting as I want it to, but afterwards it plays "if you know the extension of the person you wish to reach, please enter it now" If they stay on the line, it says "Please hold why I try that extension" I want it to just hang up on the caller after the greeting is played. Possible? I did try recording an instructional greeting for the mailbox, but insted of playing the one I recorded, it sends it to the default mailbox (997 I think) which has only a few seconds of silence as the greeting.
Thanks!

The chain done part didn't post because I used the brackets around default, which is what it is set to.

Set the MBX to "Store messages=NO", turn on DND and set Done Chain to "999"
That's all.

Thanks everyone. That did the trick! Callers now hear the greeting, then "Thank you for calling. Goodbye".
