I need to setup some debit machines to run through the system for a backup line, and I need them to have outgoing line preferrence set to a free line. (Assuming I cannot program the debit machines to dial 9.)
Is there a code I can dial from an SLT to set outgoing line preferrence or do I use the Extension Control as a manager? Or is there another method that I'm not seeing in the manuals?

The easier thing to do is set your slt to be a "pickup dial set" and set the pick up dial number to "9". The device will go off hook and the system will insert the 9 prior to the number the device dials. This will be found under "wired extension settings".
