hey guys, i moved a system today and noticed that the time and date was off. i figured no prob, will set it straight. no luck went into programing (copied from another post) type 000 display should say (date time set) press sp phone button date should be on the display use the fwd/dnd button to move the curser right .use the conf button to move left use the auto answer / mute button to change things like day of the week when all changed press autodial/store button to keep OK i went though all these steps before i checked with you guys. but when i hit the store button i get an error tone. there is no release on the bottom of the ksu so I'm guessing that it is a 1 or earlier. any ideas?

I just tried what you did on my system here and it did exactly what it should. I have -3 software on my system here. Are you sure there isn't a number inside of a circle on the label on the bottom of the KSU? It can't be any earlier than a -1, but whatever is in the circle is the OLDEST version of software you have.
These systems went up to -7, but unless the person who upgraded it changed the label, you will have to find out the software by viewing it in programming or from the labels on the EEPROMs.

it definitely does not have a number listed in a circle. and i don't think it was upgraded. panasonic is not my specialty but i have changed the time and date in that fashion god knows how many times and this is the first time i have ever had this problem. i thought there might have been a different way to set it in the older versions.
