I'm about to install a Nortel Doorphone (NT8B79FDE6) on a BCM50. I've programmed one or two BMC50's before (exisiting installations), but never via Element Manager. I always did it the "old fasioned way" = T7316 set.
Question is: Will I be able to install/program the doorphone this way too, or must I use Element Manager? The instructions for the doorphone installation only refer to Element Manger.

That's what I'm thinking. I read through the programming manual and all the references sound the same as if you were programming from the set.
Thanks. We'll see what happens...!

Update for future searchers: The "old way" does not work on the BCM. The doorphone programming feature indicates "Inactive Feature".
Had to use Element Manager.
