I have a customer that wants to route calls by what state they are calling from. I know that a Call Pilot has a Caller ID routing table. Anyone use it? How extensive can it be? Would it have to have EVERY Area Code set up for it???
But then my customer has an Apps Mod. - I assume it doesn't have this CID routing table - right?? Any ideas ( other than an upgrade). Any third party stuff??? They wanted to be able to type in the State Abbreviation then be routed to the proper salesman.
Thanks

I did think of that. How many mail boxes are on an Apps Mod?? But wow what a CCR tree.
And then they want to change where it goes every few months, because they realign the regions with the sales people.

Jim, the CLID table will route calls based partial as well as full numbers. So you can set up the table to look for area codes only. You will have to put an entry for every Area code you want to route. You can route to a DN or an AA table. If the call doesn't match an entry it is routed to the AA table normally assigned for the line.
Unfortunately you can't build a CCR based on the letters on the dial pad because you can't use 9 in a CCR tree.
I think NAM 4.1 has a CLID table.
