I have a MICS w/6.1. PRI works on current carrier.
Customer got a PRI from CoMedia. When I connect to Comedia everything looks good with no alarms as long as the circuit is idle. when I try to make a call, the call drops and "inv IE content" is displayed. I know it is a carrier issue but this is our second attempt and I am going on my 5th hour sitting here waiting for them to figure it out. Current settings are: DMS100, ESF, B8ZS, Clocking source is Primary. Have 23 B channels 24th is the D channel. Carrier is acending and I am decending. Thanks for any help.

I would hope that they gave you the config info.
But NI-2 is the normal instead of DMS-100.
If I was there for any length of time, I start changing setting to see if it makes a diff and maybe they gave me the wrong info.

I couldn't find anything on that INV-IE error.

They called it at 7 pm that night. I tried several options with the same result. The dynamic router they are using is new to them and they could not get the manufacture on the phone to help them.

The switch type and protocol are different things. All these guys with soft switches think all PBXs run the same. we just did one on a Magix with a 5ESS and custom protocol. We have never had to have the CO enable L1 flags on custom, until now. So with all these new "soft switches" coming out, its going to make some PRI stuff hit and miss.
