Hi all. We understand that the release 3.1 for the Call Pilot is Chinese not North America. Can anyone explain what that means? Is it made in China, is the quality as good as the 3.0? Thanks for your help.

Call Pilot can come with different languages.
The norm is English/Spanish or English/French.
I would imagine that the language option for Chinese would be shipped to China. But there could be a US company that would want Chinese as a secondary language.
You order the language option you need, but they can ALL be version 3.1

Nortel is a Canadian company with manufacturing facilities all over the world. So if you mean manufactured in China yes some are.
All language prompts are on the provided CD along with a utility to up load them.

Thanks NTlayoff and Telemarv. We have a vendor that told us that. Took us by surprise so went looking for more answers. Glad you agree this was a stupid statment. Think he just wanted to sell something more expensive. Again thanks.
