Thanks in advance for the people that can answer the question.

A customer had a nortel system crap out on them. They called another company to reprogram the system. Now they have a problem and what us to fix the problem.

The AA of the voicemail anwers on the first ring when the system is put into night. The system goes automatic into night at 5 pm.

The Nortel phone system is a dr2 0x32 system. It has been in place for around 10 years. I don't know the software level on either systems.

My questions are:

Where would you set up the time for the system to go at 5pm into night? I find nothing in the manual except for the service mode. But it appears to still be defaulted. The customer wants to revert back to a manual control when the system goes into night.

Phone lines ring x-221 for 4 rings before getting answered by the aa in the day mode. In the night mode, AA answers after the first ring. Where does one change the # of rings before the AA answers in the night mode. Customer wants the phones to ring 4-5 times before getting AA in the night mode.

Thanks,

Mike

You set up scheduling in the voicemail system. You will be able to set the time schedule for each day of the week.

If a service mode points lines to the voice mail they will be answered on the first ring and you can't stp that from happening.

If the customer wants a delay at night... leave it in normal ringing 24hrs a day.
