I have never installed more than one ASM-8 unit...til yesterday. Didn't give any thought about daisy chaining until it was too late. So then I got to thinking about it - how is it done.
If one installs more than one ASM-8 and you daisy chain them to just one expansion link, do you use the amphenol from each unit for each of the 8 stations, or does the second 8 use the amphenol cable from the first unit ??? i.e... the second unit does not need an amphenol cable ????? and the first unit's cable has 16 ports ????
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

Two ASM's per DS-30 port. Second ASM connects its port 1 to port 2 of the first ASM!

Can you connect a second ASM without powering down the MCIS?
