I have a customer that is having trouble transferring callers to VM using the F986 key that is programmed on sets.
The 3 sets having trouble are members of a ACD que
that receive calls via target trunks. The user presses the Tr to VM key, display says F986, then changes to "No party To connect".Calling party is still there.
I installed an ACD application 2 years ago and recall a Min/max number to dedicate channels for Acd.I do not have documentation to support my recollection.
This problem occurrs on 2 of the 3 agents 7324s.
The 3rd party has never had this problem.

Any ideas short of a reboot ? Reboot is only thing I can come up with.
Thanks in advance,
Taz

Anything different in the setup of the two offending phones from the 3rd?

Did check the obivious such as button programming, all the same. I will probably go the reboot route
next week.I believe that "no party to connect " means that there is a failure of the link (channel)
system selects.I am not sure how to test channels, used to know how to look at channels on the Nams.
I believe I need to get out the CD Rom.They are really valuable but I prefer manual.
Thanks

I have the same problem with NAM on Rel.4.1. All of a sudden Reception phone 7324 starts doing the same thing. Sometimes it comes with "No party to connect" message. After I removed Ringing from that phone it's became better but still a problem. have no clue what is going on. Sometimes it will ask for ext. but will put line on hold and will not released it. I am clueless.

Makesure you have a free I/C path for F986 to function.
