I installed a BCM 50 with 4 internal ATA's for fax machines. I am having trouble with setting dial pool access for the OB PRI channels to these analog sets. THe PRI is programmed through routing to dial 9 accessing bloc:c, but Block:c isn't an option when I assign line pool access. My tech support is stumped.............any ideas?

BlocA is usually the default for the PRI.
Did you change that?? (why?)

Is your PRI set for BlocA or C ?
If A then you don't have a C to pick from.

And since you don't have a C to pick from right now, If you changed it, why not change it back to A and use that??

Maybe more info would help.

Good question why the routing was changed.......I never had to build built routes on a BCM/PRI before! Technical support had us build the route while we were going though carrier issues. I should have questioned him more, but he was cranky after two days proving our install to a carrier.

Your statement makes me wonder if you are understanding fully.

You MUST use routing with a PRI. You cannot use line pool codes or external codes. Those fields must be NONE.

But your PRI is put into a line pool BlocA, or if you change it, whatever.

Your routing digit (9) then uses line pool BlocA.
(NOT a line pool code).

Look at your lines 1-23 and see what it says for Line Type. That is where you HAVE to start.
