I have to program a SMDR5 unit early tomorrow, but I only have SMDR6 manuals. Is there any difference?
Also...when do you use SL-1 vs. Norstar reporting format? The manual indicates "call accounting program vs. printer", but I recall having to use the Norstar format for certain call-accounting programs...

This is a little late. I program both the same. At least the Nortel format seems to be the same. BTW, I cannot get either one to last more than a couple of days without going back to default.

I don't know about a cap, but thanks for the tip, both units are refurb and that may be the problem. Will open one up. Thanks.
