You can transer to Info boxes, mailboxes, extensions, and hunt groups. I don't think you can transfer to another tree. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

You can't transfer to a CCR tree but you can build a sub-menu that could act like a CCR tree.

You can't transfer FROM a CCR tree to another one, BUT you can transfer a live call TO a CCR tree.

In other words if you have answered the call and talking on the phone, you can say "please hold" then transfer them TO a CCR tree.

Thanks for the quick responses. I was just double checking.

I was trying to setup a bilingual ccr tree and this is very possible with callpillot, but nortel recommends that you setup one greeting table for one language(english) and another greeting table to the other language(spanish). This way when a caller is in the the english table the autoattendant prompts and operator can all be tied to english and the same thing for spanish.

as of now the best compromise i have is what was suggested up above by bodie, but when one of my spanish speaking clients is in the submenu and doesn't pick an option or an incorrect option, he hears the autoattendants prompts in english.

It just seems very useful to be able to let one ccr tree call another to access different language prompts and proper routing to operators that speak the language of the menu.

solo8788: I can see your point. It does say something about the alternate prompts in another language by pressing 9.
Have you checked that out? I am really not sure if that would do what you want or not.

A real round-about way, is if you used a basic Call Center, short que, quick overflow which transfers to the CCR tree of your choice.

I would go ahead & set it up as bilingual. If the caller, as you suggested selects the Spanish menu (when English is primary) and screws up, then they can call back & try again.

What you want would be nice, but keep in mind these are simply machines that were programmed by someone that didn't think of that scenario.

Maybe a suggestion to Nortel would be a good idea for their next release. Good luck with that though.

Once again thank you, but i'm going to stay with my current setup. This way i can route english menu calls to english speaking skillsets and spanish menu calls (spanish submenu) to spanish skillsets. Only real problem is the attendant prompts.

Another method i have been considering is if i setup a ccr tree with a transfer to an outside line, with the outside line being one of our lines with the alternate language greeting table. But i'm affraid i will incur unnecessary extra phone charges.

How would you even go about making suggestions to Nortel for upcoming releases?

Why don't you turn an AA prompt off?
