My customer has a StarTalk Flash, When power is dropped the memory is lost. As far as I can tell, there is no battery on the circuit board. Does anybody have a solution?

I believe that there is a cap on the board if you look. The value is unknown, but it's probably about the same size as a 3xu KSU.

There is a cap and you can replace it (if you have any soldering skills). Go to www.refurbsupplies.com to find the cap (and their cheap).

If you don't have the skills, find someone near you that does. Shouldn't cost much.
I have a retired fireman that does electronics for a hobby. Cost for this $10 or less.
