Had a bad Bay Controller III card, got a new one and my bay 3 still won't come up with the new one. I can take the Bay Controller from bay 2 and put into Bay 3 and it works great. Both piggy backs are working fine. I tested them. The guy I got the Bay Controller from said I need to download software onto the new Bay controller III. I have no idea how to do this and quiet frankly I have never heard of it. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

The BCCIII is "upgraded" when it establishes a link with the main cabinet contriller, it takes approx. 15-20 minutes for it to upgrade, if you power cycle or reset the BCCIII during this time its toast and the only recovery is to try to reflash it ot replace it, I've had a 50/50 experience on the reflash.

Thanks, I finally go it up. I took the piggy back off of it and put it in the main cabinet hoping that it would load or upgrade the software. I let it run its course like you said and it came up. For some reason no matter how long i let it run in bay 2 or 3 it would not upgrade. The main cabinet, bay 2 & 3 are all working great now. I guess it was another one of those "Magic" things in this business.
