I have a virtual extension I'm trying to call forward off premise in System programming 24-07 on an Aspire, but all I get is dead air. If I remove the forwarding number, the virtual extension rings fine. I've checked COS to ensure off-prem forwarding is allowed.

Any suggestons?

Did you put a "9" on the dial out string and do you have enough lines to support another dial out? Note: if can take some time to forward esp on analog lines (which I never suggest).

If I remember correctly, doesn't tandem trunking have to be enabled?

Have you tried a regular extension to see if it works off that?

Put a # at the end of the number. This is what NEC had me do one time when I was doing this with a Virtual extension.
