If the Medley 64 is the system ESI built for Executone then I might be able to help.

Do you have a picture or any descriptions?

I googled it! It is an ESI manufactured system. Someone with a connection to ESI Tech Support will have to have them reset the password and the system will need to be up and running with a known phone line connected to it.

The most painless way to accomplish this is to get the System, Power Supply and 1 Phone in the hands of an ESI tech. After that your good to go.

The ESI tech will expect to be compensated a minor amount but that amount is the difference between the system working for you or just collecting dust.

I might need to get some info from ESI first. I was searching old Sundance threads on this subject and came up with this one.

I'll contact ESI TS tomorrow and get the facts.

I have an Executone Medley system. Do you know of an ESI tech that can help me reset the password. I'm currently being locked out and this seems to be a common occurence. I've tried calling around but ESI was bought out by Intertel and they no longer provide support for these systems.

Thanks in advance

ESI's involvement in the Medley system was strictly subcontract manufacturing years ago. ESI never offered tech support on these systems although a trained ESI tech would be able to efficiently maneuver through the programing due to recognizable layout.

ESI has NOT been bought out by anyone!

Your best option to get the Password reset to default is to select a reputable ESI Reseller, ship the system and 1 phone to them. The ESI reseller can connect it up in their location and pull a few Tech-Support strings with ESI. I'm sure there would be a charge for this but as stated earlier the system is useless unless it can be custom programmed.

Correct it was Executone that was bought out by Inter-Tel.
I never did see the Medley but is there a memory backup switch? If there is you should be able to turn it off and default the entire system.
