Walked into my wifes office. The office is under renovation and saw the new backboard with telecom work done to it. I was a bit suprised how the 9 cat5 wires were terminated for voice/fax. Thay were terminated with blue wire nuts!
I couldnt believe it. This work was done by a sparky. So need to install a bix and terminate smile

Is this common practice by spakies in this industry? This is the first time I have seen this.

Now I need to go buy a rj11 spliter block that splits lines one and two for testing of those lines smile

It is actually quite common to see that around these parts, except they usually prefer larger wire nuts. Red ones seem to be the norm.

Could be the large blue wire nuts ed they are after all bigger than the red.
